Cipinang River Dike Construction Accelerated

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asks dike improvement at Cipinang river, Makasar, East Jakarta to be accelerated as soon as possible. It is because too many dikes are prone to collapse.

I ask Water Management agency to improve the dike

“I ask Water Management agency to improve the dike,” he said, Friday (4/22).

According to him, Cipinang river handling is under Ciliwung Cisadane Flood Control Office (BBWSCC). In fact, he added, Jakarta Provincial Government is able to repair the prone to collapse dike. The handling of Cipinang and Sunter rivers has been cooperated to BBWSCC.

East Jakarta Involves BBWSCC to Normalize Ciliwung River

Especially at RW 05, Halim Perdanakusuma Urban Village. There is no river dike. If the river is overflowing, the water will inundate the settlement up to 1-1.5 meter.
